Responsibilities:
- Planning and managing logistics, hub, transportation and customer services
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
- Coordinating with marketing department and transporters to execute orders
- Ensure timely Loading & unloading of vehicles at Godown
- Coordinating between branches & transporters for timely deliveries
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Meet cost, productivity, and accuracy and timeliness targets
- Comply with laws, regulations
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
- Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs,
- Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, or customer issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
- Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers..
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Supervise, coach and train workforce
